The acceptance of different control mechanisms was tested for representative functionalities with participants from Germany and the USA. The results of the questionnaire-based study show, that the social situation, in which a certain application is used, has a significant effect on the preferred level of user control.","lang":"eng"}],"oa":"1","user_id":"15514","extern":"1","doi":"10.1109/ICMET.2010.5598371","page":"314 - 318","publisher":"IEEE","department":[{"_id":"DEP5023"}],"corporate_editor":["International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology"],"author":[{"first_name":"Carsten","last_name":"Röcker","full_name":"Röcker, Carsten","id":"61525"}],"conference":{"location":"Singapore","name":"2nd International Conference on Mechanical and Electrical Technology (ICMET), 2010 ","end_date":"2010-09-12","start_date":"2010-09-10"},"publication_status":"published","year":2010,"_id":"4491","date_created":"2021-01-21T09:21:22Z","date_updated":"2023-03-15T13:49:53Z","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"title":"Socially Dependent Interaction in Smart Spaces: How the Social Situation Influences the Interaction Style in Computer-Enhanced Environments","citation":{"chicago-de":"Röcker, Carsten. 2010.
