{"oa":"1","publication":"arXiv:1805.01236","abstract":[{"text":"Novel industrial wireless applications require wideband, real-time channel\r\ncharacterization due to complex multipath propagation. Rapid machine motion\r\nleads to fast time variance of the channel's reflective behavior, which must be\r\ncaptured for radio channel characterization. Additionally, inhomogeneous radio\r\nchannels demand highly flexible measurements. Existing approaches for radio\r\nchannel measurements either lack flexibility or wide-band, real-time\r\nperformance with fast time variance. In this paper, we propose a correlative\r\nchannel sounding approach utilizing a software-defined architecture. The\r\napproach enables real-time, wide-band measurements with fast time variance\r\nimmune to active interference.
